The need of organizing a training course for youth workers about social entrepreneurship started from the idea that the acceleration of globalization in Europe caused major changed in the social and economical conditions and in the social system.

The overall project increased self-empowerment and self-esteem, encouraged partnership-building and networking among the participants, raised intercultural awareness, reinforced synergies and transitions between formal, non-formal education, and entrepreneurship.

The objectives fostered innovation, creativity and internationalization of the participants. Having participants from different EU countries, the international dimension of the training was increased, as participants expanded their knowledge about the EU values and intercultural awareness. English was the common language to communicate, therefore the participants’ developed their speaking skills.

The activities were meant to increase participants’ social entrepreneurial skills and competences through a dynamic and innovative methodology. This partnership has an impact at local, regional, national and international level. Partners’ common work fostered relationships between the NGOs and the local community, increased public awareness of social entrepreneurship, promoted non-formal learning and encouraged changes in the social entrepreneurial behaviour.
